8 Ideas for a Fun Moms’ Night Out in Birmingham

0

One of my favorite things to do is spend time with my girlfriends. Seeing a Girls’ Night Out on my calendar is something that I look forward to for days (or weeks!)

Many times, it’s just meeting for dinner and chatting for hours (or at least until we know the dads have the kids in bed!), but there are lots of options in and around Birmingham to do cool things like paint on canvas or make a pretty hanger for your front door, take a yoga class that offers wine, or even try a cooking class.

Here’s a list I’ve compiled of eight fun options. Some of these I’ve already done; others, people have told me about — but I intend to try them all!

1. Bath Bomb Party at Buff City Soap

Bath bombs are hugely popular now, and at this cute shop behind the Krispy Kreme on Highway 280, you can have a bath bomb making party with your girlfriends. The staff will set everything up for you, let you pick your colors and fragrance (they customize, too!), and then you get to make them and take them home and enjoy in your bath. Check them out at buffcitysoap.com.

2. Paint Night at Painting with a Twist

I’ve done this several times (including once with some of my BMB gals!) and it makes for such a fun night! You can just grab some friends and go anytime, or if you have a group of 10 or more, you can schedule a private party. The studio, located in the Lee Branch shopping center near Greystone, provides all the art supplies and you can bring snacks and drinks of your choice. You can select a painting from their collection of over 7,000 options, paint it with instruction from an artist, and take it home with you!

3. Yoga or Shopping at Cat-n-Bird Winery

From 4:30 – 8:30 p.m., you can enjoy wine and snacks while shopping from local vendors that will be set up with their products. Check them out at www.cat-n-bird.com.
