How to Save a Life {Infant CPR, AED, Epipen Training} :: Event Recap

0

We had a great time of learning, sharing, eating, and getting loads of free stuff at our How to Save a Life event on Tuesday, October 10 at UAB Women and Infants Center! As guests arrived, they registered for giveaways, got swag bags, and then headed to the buffet table to make themselves a plate of delicious food from Mudtown, The Ridge, Soho Social, Chick-fil-a, and drinks from Piggly Wiggly. Dessert was provided by Ashley Mac’s and those brownies were in each swag bag to taste at the event or later after each attendee got home!

Swag bags included coupons to Swaddle, Chic-Fil-A Be Our Guest cards, Wyndy Cardholders, color changing cups from UAB, and Ashley Mac’s brownies.

Next, Freda Cantor went through each step of how to save an infant’s life in the case of an emergency. We learned the steps of infant CPR, AED training, Epipen, and as an added bonus, the Heimlich maneuver.

Thank you all to UAB, our sponsors, and to all of the attendees for making this event a success!

Special thanks to our sponsors!
