June 23

I Love America Night — Celebrate America on Thursday, June 23 at Wald Park from 6 pm to 8 pm! Enjoy sponsor booths, a kids area, free swimming, music, a fireworks show at 8:45 pm and MORE!

June 24 and 25

Liberty Day — the city of Columbiana’s Liberty Day features music on three stages, food trucks, arts and crafts vendors, children’s games, a car show, a hot dog eating contest, a parade on Main Street, and the best fireworks show in central Alabama.

July 1

City of Hoover Honors America — Fireworks show beginning at 9pm in the Hoover Met Parking Lot. Music will be broadcast on 87.9 FM.  

July 2

2022 Fireworks Show hosted by the City of Alabaster — This celebration includes food trucks, bounce houses, games, and music starting at 6 pm at Thompson High School. Fireworks start at 9 pm! 

Chelseafest & The Big Kaboom — Chelsea’s city-wide 4th of July celebration is happening from 5 pm to 9 pm and features music on the main stage, food from several food trucks, and fireworks.

July 3

Fire on the Water — An early round of fireworks, food trucks, and fun at Oak Mountain State Park on Monday, July 3rd from 5 to 9 pm. 

Helena Festival — Helena’s 4th of July celebration will be held on Sunday, July 3 from 5-9 pm in Helena’s new Entertainment District located in Old Town. There will be artisan and craft vendors, food trucks, live music, and fireworks.

Family Fireworks Spectacular — Enon Baptist Church is hosting their Family Fireworks Spectacular at Morris Ballpark on Sunday, July 3. Gates open at 6pm and the fireworks begin at 9pm.

July 4th

Independence Day 1776 — Gates open at 11 am at American Village’s Annual Independence Day celebration. They have activities going on ALL day long on the Fourth including fireworks at twilight. What a cool setting and fun opportunity for your family!

Birmingham Barons — It’s an Independence Day Celebration at the ballpark! Watch the Birmingham Barons baseball team take on the Tennessee Smokies at 6:30 pm and enjoy a fireworks show after the game. 

Our Lady of Sorrows Fourth of July Festival — This is the 73rd Annual 4th of July Festival in Homewood at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School. B-B-Q, bake sales, and thrift sales. It doesn’t get much more Mayberry than this.

Thunder on the Mountain — Thanks to Vulcan Park & Museum for putting on the best fireworks in town from 9 to 9:30 pm! People flood into downtown Birmingham to watch this great show, or many people find parking lots at churches, shopping centers, etc. in the nearby areas and set up camp to watch this show. Spectators can listen to the soundtrack exclusively on iHeart media radio stations.

Trussville Freedom Celebration — 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on the Mall in the historic downtown Trussville area with carnival games, food trucks, and fun.
